3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
That's my boy! Son is currently going through a "surrounded by idiots" phase. I feel proud that this is, in terms of personal development, a side-effect of being streets ahead of his peers - he has a clear direction and distinct objectives, and has to co-operate with people who have not. This is making him kinda exasperated.

It's a privilege to mentor him - to guide him to trust his own intuition in dealing with the obstacles. Equally important is to provide him with peaceful time and space to heal and refresh. I am delighted that I can now offer him such an environment.

I am doing exactly what I wanted to do - make a difference, mainly to Son and Missus by providing a loving peaceful environment, but also in smaller ways to others - and enjoy myself at the same time. There are always many things to want, but in terms of what's important to me, I have everything. I will savour every moment.

9. ZEN WISDOM
The courage not to bow to pressure, the courage to stand alone, the courage to maintain one’s determination, the courage to look deep into one’s heart and confront one’s own cowardice and arrogance, the courage to challenge difficulties—those who possess this kind of courage are true victors.
