3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I made "heavy weather" of the Weekend Job on Saturday, for no specific reason that I could put my finger on. I was fragile and emotional, but fortunately there were no incidents to "push me over" and the shift went fine. As workload died back in the final quarter, the finish was smooth, which uplifted spirits. I prefer things that way round rather than to have had a mainly good shift with a sour ending.
My training compels me to reflect inward on that day's events. Inadequate sleep and meditation undoubtedly affected my ability to direct my focus, which, on a loose leash, defaulted to the negative. New "toys" at home, though very nice, have distracted me from disciplines, but now everything's "bedded-in" I will return to those disciplines, knowing how essential to my wellbeing they are!

Canada did not have a national flag until February 15, 1965, when its
maple leaf flag was adopted by its parliament. Before that, the British merchant navy flag, occasionally with a Canadian emblem, was in general use.
9. ZEN WISDOM
Human life is indeed wondrous. You may be ill physically, but as long as
your spirit is strong, it most certainly will exert a positive
influence on your body. Nothing is better for health than a positive attitude
