3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
It is the destiny of this character to be the Lone Wolf, or the guru on the mountain, whichever suits your imagination. This doesn't mean I seek utter isolation - I enjoy company and recognition - but rather I can't work with anyone for a prolonged period. I have my own way of doing things that I'm very reluctant to compromise on. One of the reasons my marriage works is that I have unprecedented freedom within it that has enabled me to ultimately grow and thrive.

For this reason, as a matter of priority, I need to establish my Practice to the level where it can financially support me before Missus no longer can. I have however long-since embraced risk, uncertainty and failures as the price for my life lived my way, and it's working for me so far! Living for today my way has resulted in the "Golden Age" I'm currently enjoying.

I have learned that whatever you do, there is no true security and there will always be disapproval. Therefore, if I could fail and I'm going to piss off people, it may as well be whilst doing something I actually love doing. That is my message - live your dream follow your passion, no matter how competitive or risky it is or how often you fail - pursue it to the end.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you going to choose security or happiness?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Mainly dry and cloudy but with showers, some heavy
Showers will have all passed by evening
A moderate south-westerly will blow throughout
Max Temp = 15 degC at 2pm
Min Temp = 11 degC at 7am
Sunrise at 05:20
Sunset at 21:05
Moon:

Weathertrack: A dissipating depression west of Scotland will bring cloud and showers to Britain today
Air Pressure: 1013 millibars and rising slightly

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
I'm at that stage of marriage where "getting lucky tonight" means we're getting pizza delivered :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
Research has found that women prefer masculine-looking men when they are ovulating—, but at other times of the month, they seek men with softer features, associated with more social and caring behaviour.

9. ZEN WISDOM
It would be pointless for a plum blossom to try to remake itself as a cherry blossom, no matter how deeply the plum yearns to do so. The plum is happiest when it blooms as itself in full glory. How much of the color and wonder of life would be lost if it weren’t for our differences.

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
It's always a pleasure to make Missus day. Three hours in John Lewis Liverpool and you'd think she'd been to Shangri-La. Of course, in her mind, she just HAS been in Shangri-La - and all we bought there was lunch! Of course, once you add in the coach fare, the souvenir Liverpool FC mug (for her!) and a takeaway cold supper from M&S Liverpool, I wouldn't call it a cheap day out, but neither was it unusually expensive for a day-trip.

Due to lack of opportunity, I've now gone three days without an orgasm, and of course in terms of sexual frustration there is none. I could, if it came to it, go celibate for the rest of my life. This is not the case with Missus of course, and I have no reason to deprive her, but even if I was single, I'd still have an orgasm a day anyway, for wellbeing and health reasons.

A good cum every day basically tells the bodymind to keep going, so you age slower and are more healthy, and it considerably reduces the risk of Prostate Cancer. It still remains a pleasurable activity, but takes more work, and for sex, some chemical assistance.

In a particularly good mood after Liverpool, Missus will certainly be wanting sausage for breakfast today, and the "fast" will be broken. I'm mildly concerned that after three days, there may be considerable mess! More laundry for me I fear!

My first major spiritual influence post-Christianity was Sharon Janis, and she wrote some advice that I have found useful to this day - to live on many levels at once. That means my consciousness knows what it is but also plays this character, albeit fully aware that it's a role. The universal perspective brings peace and balance, and the character is a temporary vehicle for the spread of awareness, in the same way a neuron by sending out impulses to others contributes to the awareness of the character.

What's nice to know is that I've already fulfilled this role - I have passed on both genes and memes, and in the time the character has left, I can spread "bonus" memes and enjoy the character.

To keep the character functional, it requires a challenge, and there are plenty of those, internal and external! None of them however are overwhelming - just enough to keep me alert and practicing healthy disciplines. So then, while this character lives, good stuff will keep coming!

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU

Min Temp = 9 degC at 8am

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
A massive drop in my Twitter followers appears to be due to a purge of spammer accounts by Twitter - I didn't find any genuine unfollowers, so it wasn't something I said!

Of course I AM capable of saying things that people don't like, but my intention is what I do say has insightful truth within it. For example, I appear to be a minority view at being completely at peace with the darkness and light within myself. I have no problem with being a meat-eating predator, and would without hesitation kill people if I considered them a threat and there were minimal consequences. On the other hand I am capable of compassion and empathy, healing and educating/enlightening.

To me as a single point of the universe, this makes me simply a consistent part of it - the universe itself is darkness and light, creating and destroying. I see this polarity everywhere, particularly with my cats, capable of savage cruelty without pity and also playful tender affection. Looking deeper beyond all the human ideas and concepts, there is simply vibration, a wave with positive and negative peaks.

I do not find this depressing but rather fascinating, and grateful to have been one of the few to grasp how it really is, to have been able to see beyond the "smoke and mirrors" and been truly aware. It's a joy to participate in it and send out the seeds of awareness out into cyberspace, where it will take root in a few other open minds, and will grow in every generation.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
 Is your ignorance really bliss?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD

Min Temp = 10 degC at 7am
Sunrise at 05:17
Sunset at 21:09
Moon:

Weathertrack: A short-lived ridge of high pressure extending from the Azores anticyclone will keep Britain mainly dry today
Air Pressure: 1016 millibars and rising

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
Man seeks lady for long walks - due to being banned from driving :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
The Pamela Anderson comedy roast - Courtney Love

8. TRIVIA
Enrico Caruso (1873-1921), arguably the greatest opera singer of all time, was the 18th of 21 children, only three of whom lived beyond infancy. As a boy, he worked in a machine shop to help his family and sang on street corners to make money. He was the first opera singer to perform without dynamic modulation, which is to sing almost exclusively forte (loud).

9. ZEN WISDOM
Encouragement means to plant the seed of courage in the lives of others. It is an act of regeneration.

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I seem to have unwittingly built up considerable sleep debt over the past few days, and last night my brain demanded repayment! I crawled into bed defeated around 20:45 and aside from a wee in the small hours got up again at 5am - 8 hours is a marathon sleep by my standards!

My bodyclock has been lapsing backwards recently due to the lack of a regular routine, without me really noticing. It would suggest that even when there's nothing pressing, a structured day is still important.

The "last straw" for my brain was possibly a minor falling-out with Missus over the NEXT catalogue - over her continuing to use this company when the customer service is poor. This is a "raw nerve" for me and though I didn't "lose it", I did get annoyed. The minor but unexpected stress burned seemed to prove the tipping point for an under-rested brain! A compromise with Missus was reached where I agreed to research other catalogue companies, and suitably rested, the day begins with stability restored!

In August, though Missus is at home, a structure will return as my Practice re-starts, so Missus will have to conform to it! It's in her best interest as well as mine.

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Most of the time, taking Missus out is a relatively cheap date - yesterday for example, taking the bus to M&S Leeds for lunch and to pick up some nail varnish and bread rolls, to her constituted a Grand Day Out. Ironically, I spent more than her - on a head-cushion for the Consulting Room. On a jaunt to Liverpool later in the week, we will spend more on the coach than we will in the city - probably!

It's the dreaded NEXT catalogue where considerably more cash can be spent from the sofa with a simple phone call. However, after investing heavily in the Consulting Room this month, mainly on new audiovisual equipment, I could not with clear conscience refuse her boots and shoes for the forthcoming Pearl Wedding anniversary - a dress she wanted was out of stock - meaning they never had it in size 22 in the first place! This is blatantly obvious because the new catalogue has only just arrived!

My general view on purchases is to get stuff you want while you can afford it because you may not get another chance - you never know when the last ever opportunity will be. Now especially in our fifties, before age makes us too incapacitated, is the best chance we'll get to live life to the full.

I have only just got to the point where I "get it" and have adequate abundance to experience life truly awakened, so I will savour every precious moment and make the maximum possible difference.
