3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
So Son whilst in Minsk has got officially engaged to his true-love and is generally head-over-heels. I am not going to openly piss on his bonfire, but the two of them have seriously got their work cut out just finding a way to be together. They're both going to have to come up with some serious cash to turn all this euphoria into a settled existence, and before that there's going to be some prolonged periods apart.

Of course myself and his mother had a similar experience around the same age, but we were only a few hundred miles apart in the same country, not thousands of miles in two completely different ones. I guess being young and in love you just don't think about what it's gonna take. However I know better than to worry on their behalf. My role as father is to retreat to the background as the comforting presence to be consulted where needed. It's their own struggle and their own story.

Meanwhile, I need to forge ahead with my own life experience. My ambition is simply more of what I've already got and to relish every moment of it. I have a simple twin-focus - my Practice and Missus. The marriage is enjoying its Golden Age whilst my Practice after a recent resurgence has the potential to go viral if I persist with it. I also know that it's not the goal, it's achieving it where the fulfilment lies - the goal is the focus that makes the difference happen.

Consciousness is now in the position to enjoy this movie!
