3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I can't remember a time when my mind has been so quiet! I'm in a period where there is, day-to-day at least, no struggle. I fully intend to take advantage of this by raising my consciousness to new heights with the aim of keeping it there. A combination of calm and benevolent circumstances Chromium and other supplements and rediscovering the joy of walking has made it possible.

Walking has now become a habit - I am starting to need a good daily hike of a minimum of 40 minutes to keep relaxed. This of course further enhances wellbeing.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
How are you going to get your life to where you want it to be?

8. TRIVIA
Babies born in May usually weigh on average 200 grams more than babies born in other months.

9. ZEN WISDOM
It is not about how others are or how society is. The most important thing is to ask yourself, “What should I do?” and “What can I do?”

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
A bit of a rollercoaster yesterday. Two "wobbly" clients who at the beginning of the day I had written off look like they're back on board. Today we shall see if my clients do what's expected of them!

Whatever the machinations of others, for this character there are new heights of clarity and inner peace, a quiet mind and a well-defined purpose. Gratitude is without doubt the prevailing attitude. I am at peace with the man in the mirror, so with this character so settled, my conscious is free to rise to higher levels. Ultimately consciousness will live outside the character completely and simply "enjoy the show"

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Is your life moving in a clear well-defined direction?

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
I just want one of those jobs where I can be put on paid leave while a committee reviews my behaviour. :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
About 37% of all abortions occur to African American women, 34 % to non-Hispanic Caucasian women, 22% to Hispanic women, and 8% to other races (The small overlap between racial categories create a total of 101%). Approximately 50% of women who obtain an abortion are younger than 25. Women who have never married obtain two-thirds of all abortions. Younger women are more likely to request an abortion after 12 weeks.

9. ZEN WISDOM
The worst mistake you can make is to give up on yourself and stop challenging yourself for fear of failure. Keep moving forward with a firm eye on the future, telling yourself, “I’ll start from today!” “I’ll start afresh from now, from this very moment!”

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Last night I swore I would NEVER AGAIN see clients without payment in advance! I now normally don't anyway, but I made an exception for a client who had already previously had a 5-session course - and he didn't show!! I've learned that just because you may have scruples and things you would never do, there are always plenty of others who would. And yet despite all that I'm making another exception today! However it's another circumstance not previously encountered, so we'll see how this one goes.

As well as insisting on payment in advance without exception, the other lesson has been acceptance - people and situations just don't behave in the way expected of them. There has to be a letting go and a focus on the people and situations who ARE behaving as wanted.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are there circumstances where it's absolutely right to say NEVER?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Showers will clear by mid-morning
Cloud will thin out thereafter and skies will clear by mid-afternoon
Rain will return overnight
A moderate south-westerly will blow throughout
Max Temp = 8 degC at 3pm
Min Temp = 5 degC at midnight
Sunrise at 05:36
Sunset at 20:34
Moon:

Weathertrack: A depression is moving slowly east across Britain
Air Pressure: 1007 millibars and static

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
The female praying mantis devours the male within minutes after mating, while the female human prefers to stretch it out over a lifetime. :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
On July 1, 2009, shortly after Michael Jackson died, his page became the most popular page on Facebook. Previously, the most popular person on Facebook was U.S. President Obama with just over 6 million fans.

9. ZEN WISDOM
The course of our lives is determined by how we react—what we decide and what we do—at the darkest of times. The nature of that response determines a person’s true worth and greatness.

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
My Practice is getting busy! A couple of the cases are particularly challenging, but this is a nice problem to have - it's what I love to do and if all the cases were easy, I wouldn't grow and develop as a therapist. In addition, a busy schedule keeps me focused and prevents the mind wandering into dark places and wasting time on unimportant pursuits.

Paradoxically, a busy time keeps my mind quieter and my consciousness higher. This is probably because I am fulfilling the purpose of this character, which means there is less confusion or difficult choices - the path is clearer.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Youthfulness is not determined by age. It is determined by one’s life force. One who possesses hope is forever young. One who continually advances is forever beautiful.
