3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I had a productive Tuesday in which I got stuff done! Client sessions went well, and I completed the business accounts and updated the client database. Nutrition was higher than I would like to avoid the suspicion of Missus but was reasonably controlled. Finally I had time to research strategies for mind-emptying and PTSD.

Mind-emptying continues to be Priority One and though it's early days I appear to have hit upon the right technique - passive knowing. I simply evoke the feeling of knowing without having a specific subject - the feeling like when you have fully understood something. For PTSD I am using EMDR (rapid right-left eye movement) as soon as a bad memory emerges. Combining these two techniques with slow deep breathing, I can keep my mind empty.

It's early day's as I've only just got going, but so far my mind is much quieter.

What's the next objective in your self-development?

8. TRIVIA
Ramses II (1279-1212 B.C.) is often considered the greatest pharaoh of the Egyptian empire. He ruled Egypt for 60 years and was the only pharaoh to carry the title “the Great” after his name. He had over 90 children: approximately 56 boys and 44 girls. He had eight official wives and nearly 100 concubines. He also had red hair, which was associated with the god Seth.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Where there’s life, there’s hope. Hope only disappears when you decide something is hopeless.
