3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Well that was interesting - last night I had a sugar crash and an overwhelming urge for sugar AFTER I had eaten supper! I alleviated it with fruit and peanuts. If I thought I understood what was really going on with my body and nutrition, such illusions have been shattered! The prime suspect is white bread for lunch, which I only ate because I don't want Missus to know I'm skipping meals. However white bread is still a complex carbohydrate and I wasn't expecting it to cause a sugar crash. Whatever, I'm still sticking to the plan.

An interesting facet of erectile dysfunction is that libido is still quite high, but the means to gratify it are restricted. If I wake horny in the morning, I have the choice between frustration or taking an hour or more which in earlier days would require only a few minutes of me time. I have noticed that performance peaks at late morning, and with appropriate supportive facilities requires the regulation 15 minutes. In the light of this, next time I wake up horny first thing in the morning, I'm just going to leave myself alone!

The above challenges are fortunately not causes of distress. I have learned that happiness is not the absence of challenges but in leading a fulfilling life where you make a difference, and this character is certainly doing that.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you happy with your own attitude?

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
Iraq once had some of the highest quality schools and colleges in the Arab world. However, after the 1991 Gulf War and the United Nations sanctions, by 2008 only around 40% of Iraqis could read and write.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Peace is not simply the absence of war; it is a state in which people come together in mutual trust and live with joy, energy, and hope. This is the polar opposite of war—where people live plagued by hatred and the fear of death.
