3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
After the dizzy heights of Good Friday, this character came down with a bump after an encounter at the Weekend Job with an obnoxious woman. Such encounters are "raw nerves" for me and it takes a long time for my mind to regain balance. I was not snapped out of it until this morning by a matter of greater concern - the stupid cat followed Missus across the BRADFORD RING ROAD all the way to Undercliffe Cemetery for the Christian Easter Sunday sunrise service.

Of course, loon Missus has no assertiveness skills whatsoever and just let it. Muggins here had to meet her and go rescue Shadow. We got lucky - there was only a 50% chance of finding the cat and another 50% that it would safely follow us home back across the Ring Road.

I now feel exhausted and it's not yet mid-morning! Sometimes this character wishes that someone would properly look after ME.

This afternoon's meditation will hopefully restore perspective and balance.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
What do you do to regain composure after you have been upset?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Dry and mainly sunny and mild throughout
Clear after dark but fog will settle overnight
Wind negligible until a westerly breeze picks up in the evening
Max Temp = 14 degC at 4pm
Min Temp = 7 degC at midnight
Sunrise at 06:31
Sunset at 19:49
Moon:

Weathertrack: An anticyclone sat over Britain will remain static and intensify
Air Pressure: 1027 millibars and rising

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
The Japanese flag is really a pie chart of how afraid the Japanese are of Godzilla. : D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
Falconry was developed more than 4,000 years ago in eastern and central Asia. Birds were used because they could kill animals beyond the range of a hunter’s weapon. Genghis Khan reportedly had 10,000 falconers.

9. ZEN WISDOM
When we have a genuine sense that, no matter how difficult our present circumstances, we are not alone—that we are vitally connected with others and with the world—we will, without fail, rise up to the challenge of living again.
