An interesting facet of body-clock is that no matter what time I go to bed, it always wakes me in the earlybright. Due to a self-indulgent "late-nighter to 1.10am, I was still up at 5.15am, so I may catch up on a couple of hours this afternoon! The other item of interest is that I now often wake horny with a boner, but I have learned that this is not a cue for libido relief - if I indulge it I may still be at it an hour later. In fact it's driven by a full bladder. After the early morning wee, the boner vanishes instantly!

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Fortunately erectile dysfunction is not the same as impotence - I'm still capable but have to be highly stimulated to be aroused and keep things up, or more reliably take a blue tablet, which I reserve for lovemaking to save money.
These issues and long-sightedness, my other symptom of ageing, are all inconvenient but manageable and don't get in the way of my happiness. Eyesight bothers me the most - I need to keep reading glasses handy at all times. It's most frustrating when you want to read and there's just a blur in front of you.
Yesterday was the first day of Operation Equinox where I let myself relax a bit! However this doesn't amount to a collapse - discipline will be restored today. I will immensely enjoy having Friday off the Weekend job and have a good slob!

8. TRIVIA
A group of crows is called a murder or congress. A group of owls is called a parliament, wisdom, or study. A group of flamingos is called a flamboyance.
9. ZEN WISDOM
Illness is not something to feel ashamed of. It is not a sign of misfortune or defeat. Suffering is the fuel of wisdom, and it opens the way to happiness. Through illness, human beings can gain insight into the meaning of life, understand its value and dignity, and strive to lead more fulfilling lives.
