3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Missus calmly negotiated a compromise with me over it on the matter without a twitch of negativity. Of course her senses are somewhat altered by powerful antipsychotic medication, but she has ALWAYS been conciliatory like that. I will never be loved to the same intensity by anyone else. Ending up with a parasitic daughter so utterly awful has been balanced by a son who is my best friend and a wife who bathes me in love. This character has certainly experienced all shades!
In a more general observation, I have noticed how people in love, and more particularly women, overlook and make excuses for the utterly ghastly behaviour of people they care about. Being less than reasonable myself in the past, I can only be grateful to have been on the receiving end of such love, and I have at least given it the due recognition it deserves.
