3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
With Missus returning to work, this is my one day to myself this week, and it will be spent doing usual-type tasks. I don't have any inspiration for any new marketing initiatives, but there's plenty of scope for reviving some old ones. At some point I also need to construct a "Smart-Phone Friendly" version of my website.

Certainly if things do not improve, more severe austerity measures will need to be imposed. However I long-since learned not to panic over nightmare scenarios - taking each day as it comes is the way to live, with your focus on your objectives. In particular I want to press on to achieve an internally silent mind, as I believe this will cause many issues to solve themselves.

4. QUESTION FOR YOU
Is there a distraction that needs to be eliminated?

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Much to my surprise, Missus opted for a local anaesthetic rather than to be sedated for her endoscopy, but what she gained in post-operative awareness soon evaporated after the anaesthetic wore off, feeling tired, sick and sore, so she's at home recovering today anyway.

For me this all means that the week will turn out as expected, somewhat fragmented. However there's plenty of me time and opportunities to keep my head in the right place. Whilst waiting for Missus to emerge from her endoscopy for example turned out to be an ideal meditation opportunity.

I intend to exploit every opportunity to do what I love doing and things I don't like only when absolutely necessary, the absolute opposite of the philosophy I grew up surrounded by. After seeing the misery and dysfunctionality that resulted, I have no intention of making the same mistakes.

I will also keep pursuing my goals in the face of every disappointment, setback, defeat and failure, treating them all as lessons to learn from on my way to triumph.
