3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I am virused!! It's been two years since I last got infected with anything, so you could argue I'm overdue, but it's no coincidence to my mind that it arrives at the same time I'm fighting a disciplinary at the Weekend Job. I have counterstruck by invoking a formal grievance procedure which has delayed the whole thing and will cost time, but victory not ending things quickly is the objective.

The whole thing has "got to me" more than I thought it might, and I fear it weakened by biological defences against attack. Fortunately this particular virus at this point appears to be only the Common Cold, which is uncomfortable but not debilitating. Palliative medication and an abundance of tissues will get me through.

Events at the Weekend Job have prompted me to formally request a change of job role there, something I probably needed to do much earlier, but it simply didn't have my attention. Feeling increasingly "cornered" I am beginning to act like a cornered animal, which is in no one's interest.

Meanwhile on the Practice front, I have had an enjoyable month learning all about video making, but it hasn't really been taking my business forward. I have now learned everything I wanted to and will be more focused on marketing and publicity from Monday.

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
When Tutankhamen’s tomb was opened in 1922, the wine jars buried with him were labeled with the year, the name of the winemaker, and comments such as “very good wine.” The labels were so specific that they could actually meet modern wine label laws of several countries.

9. ZEN WISDOM
When you devote yourself to achieving your goal, you will not be bothered by shallow criticism. Nothing important can be accomplished if you allow yourself to be swayed by some trifling matter, always looking over your shoulder and wondering what others are saying or thinking. The key to achievement is to move forward along your chosen path with firm determination.
