3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
My training has taught me how to manage my emotions so that I can continue to function and not harm others, but I still get to feel the damn things! I am currently enduring a serious malaise. And for all my training, it is in fact the existence of loved ones counting on me, and that fact alone, which is preventing me from doing anything really stupid.
Of course that is a testament to the power of love, the all-powerful life-giver and sustainer. I often tap into this in-built power to help clients with their own issues. However love cannot make you invincible - everyone has a limit to their endurance. Exceed that limit and you will break.
I am fortunate in that I have abundant time and space for solitude and recovery, and due to my training, know how to use it to best effect. My destiny is I suspect to have sufficient resources and opportunities to avoid self-destruction and to help others to do the same.
