3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
A showdown with Son took place last night before bed as I finally made a stand on the thorny issue of his parents noisy lovemaking. The bottom line was that I was no longer prepared to tolerate any limit or restriction and that he would just have to deal with it. The atmosphere was calm but tense, and he went away to think about it.

I'm hoping that he will grow some tolerance rather than seethe with resentment, but I just don't know how it will pan out. I have no regrets and in fact wish I had done it sooner. I will not be dictated to in my own home by anyone, no matter how much they mean to me.

It is the last day of doing nothing, and I intend to do it with gusto! I certainly feel better for it, and it has enabled me to quickly defeat a Common Cold infection, my body now mopping up and self-repairing. In my mind I shall enjoy being quiet and aware.
