3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
With the Weekend Job ending a smooth note, 11 days of chilling out and slobbing begins! (with an "island" of commitment on the 27th - a single shift of the Weekend Job) I'm fully expecting heaven on Earth!
The secret of a happy Yuletide is only being with those folks you actually like! With the genetic extended family in dysfunctional disarray, I have none of the pressures to "turn up" that exist in most other families. Consequently, only love and joy remains.
Amidst all the self-indulgence, there will be some discipline, particularly meditation. I want to take all the golden opportunities to turn off conscious thought and simply BE, and carry that back into normal routines in the New Year. My wordless intuition runs my life far better than my chaotic thoughts ever have.
4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU

8. TRIVIA
France, not Germany, was the first country to use gas against enemy
troops in WWI. In August 1914, they fired the first tear gas grenades
(xylyl bromide) against the Germans. In January 1915, Germany first used
tear gas against Russian armies, but the gas turned to liquid in the
cold air. In April 1915, the Germans were the first to use poisonous
chlorine gas.
9. ZEN WISDOM
Only when we learn to channel the energy we direct toward winning over
others into winning over ourselves can we begin to develop our humanity.
