3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Operation Missus' Operation was a complete success yesterday, and largely involved me just being there. I got my way and was allowed into the Anaesthetic Room, so I was the last thing Missus remembered beforehand and the first thing she saw after. The surgery itself, a tear-duct bypass, passed off without incident, although it took longer than forecast.

It was a remarkable effect of my training that despite having nothing to do all day but sit there, it all went relatively quickly, and rather than feeling bored out of my skull, I was simply "conscious" and at peace with myself. Though there still inevitably clashes and conflicts with others, within myself there is peace, perfect peace.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU

Cows can be found freely wandering the streets of India’s cities. They are considered sacred and will often wear a tilak, a Hindu symbol of good fortune. Cows are considered one of humankind’s seven mothers because they offer milk as does one’s natural mother.
