3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Something like a routine returns today with missus finally going back to work post-surgery and having her stitches out. Unfortunately she looks like a victim of domestic abuse! However, I expect the wound to heal up fairly quickly. This gives me time, and leaves me without excuse, to get stuff done in my twin roles of housekeeper and Hypnotherapist whilst I have the house to myself. When loved ones return, I fully play my role as husband and father.

Though the cats are essentially therapy for Missus, I have to admit I am rather enjoying the company of this our third pair. They are by far the most affectionate and are highly enjoyable to watch at play. Son is even more smitten than I am, so they have turned out to be a good investment in the general happiness of the house.

Everyone's morale is high at home at this time, and I intend to savour every blissful moment, truly enjoying life while I am still sufficiently mobile and mentally competent to appreciate it all. I am thoroughly immersed in Gratitude! Right now I need only keep my mind in the right place to sustain the pleasure of this rather delicious point in time and space.
