3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I was going to have a day off blogging just to refresh my mind a little, but some positive feedback from followers made me feel that I didn't want to "let them down" so here I am!
Son's low-key birthday was a complete success, although he is more like me than I would like, i.e. antisocial and introverted by nature, preferring to hang with the close few rather than mix with the masses. On the other hand, it is very flattering indeed that we are best friends, an honour I will never bestow on my own father, who does not in fact even reach the status of acquaintance these days.
A great joy in these present times is that there is a clarity in my mind about who and what I am and my life-purpose. This frees up all my energy to just getting on with fulfilling that role on a day-to-day basis. Another day in paradise beckons.
4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you clear in your own mind about the purpose of your life?
5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Dry, sunny and cool all day.
Patchy cloud appears from mid-evening.
A moderate south-westerly will blow throughout
Max Temp = 8 degC
Min Temp = 6 degC

Weathertrack:
A depression over Britain will track very slowly east. Due to being at its centre, rain will be light or totally absent in some areas.
6. TODAY'S ONELINER
Politicians put up with Britain's alcoholism partly because they want
you passive & confused, partly because nobody would f**k them sober. - Frankie Boyle :D
7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Never Mind The Buzzcocks: Simon Amstell's childhood TV appearance
8. TRIVIA
The Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 uncovered the lost city Mahabalipuram,
the capital of a powerful kingdom that traded with China, Rome,
Greece, Arabia, and Egypt some 1,500 years ago. It is said that the
capital was kodalkol or “swelled by the sea” at the height of its glory.
9. ZEN WISDOM
“Thank you” is the essence of nonviolence. It contains respect for the
other person, humility and a profound affirmation of life.
