3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
My character was rather chuffed with himself yesterday when he dug out some coaxial extension cable that had lain in the "man-drawer" for years and ran it upstairs to the bedroom TV (used mainly for this laptop which has a dead screen), equipping it with Freeview. This will considerably reduce tension between Missus and Son over the main TV downstairs and enhances the creature-comforts factor in the bedroom!

The time spent on the project did of course reduce time available for promotional work but it was worth it! Additional equipment coming in the near future will be an inexpensive set-top box to get HDTV upstairs and a tray-cooler for the laptop to extend its working life.

With these little enhancements and the latest "Daughter incident" concluded, another routine few days in the paradise of domestic bliss beckons. I am savouring every single moment!

6. TODAY'S ONELINER

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Never Mind The Buzzcocks - A proper joke

8. TRIVIA
One in five adults admitted to urinating in swimming pools, which means 20% of adults in swimming pools have urinated in it. Red eyes associated with swimming are not caused by chlorine. They are caused by chloramine, a chemical that is created when urine combines with the chlorine already in the pool. In fact, the more strong smelling a pool is, the more contaminated it is.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Be neither intoxicated by success nor disheartened in defeat.
