3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Having found a lump in my armpit, I dutifully went to the docs (which I dislike doing) and was diagnosed with a gland infection. Got antibiotics for that plus something for perpetual heartburn and the fungal infection in a big toe I'll get something over-the-counter for.

Lol all minor stuff! Not too bad for a dumpy middle-aged bloke. Here's to modern medicine for making life easier, particularly regarding erectile dysfunction, which I'm already taking Viagra for. Long-sightedness is of course corrected by reading glasses.

It all reminds me that I am ageing, my body in decline, but my mind, which is still acquiring knowledge and wisdom, rather than getting depressed, finds it all perversely interesting. This is because the problems arising so far are not getting in my way, and aside from some expense, are easily compensated for. It might get different if something more serious happens!

My belief is that my mental wellbeing is a major factor in slowing physical decline and preventing major bodily malfunction. However, we will see!  So far so not-so-bad!

8. TRIVIA
In present-day Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Pakistan, a girl who loses her virginity before her wedding day or engages in an unapproved relationship may be punished or murdered along with her lover by the males of her own family a so-called "honour-killing"

9. ZEN WISDOM
