3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I can report that Omeprazole, which is the drug I'm taking for excess stomach acid, has the side-effect of making me very mildly stoned! A WELCOME side-effect! With a mind that if left unmanaged tends to overreact, all chemical assistance is greatly received! 

As my body gets used to this drug, this side-effect may tail off, but I'll make the most of it while it lasts! Meanwhile, the lump under my armpit has not immediately responded to the initial onslaught of antibiotic, but there is no cause for concern at this stage. We'll see if it succumbs to prolonged and relentless antibiotic assault over the next few weeks.

Missus is off to visit Daughter for the first time in a while. I'm not sure what to hope for - either for Missus to be treated with some gentle patient considerate caring (no chance!) or to be treated so badly she comes home (possible!). Somewhere between these two outcomes is most likely. My strategy remains, with Son's assistance, to create the greatest contrast possible between her treatment here and there.

I can now generate internal silence at will when I concentrate - a major achievement! Only at these times am I truly "me" rather than just dreaming, so my aim is to relentlessly persist until it is my default conscious state.
