3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I occasionally suffer from semi-insomnia - that's unable to sleep for half the night, usually the second half. I have learned not to get frustrated over such occurrences but to go with it, and my body-clock eventually re-sets itself. Such times are ideal for blogging and computer stuff, which I can do without disturbing anyone else.

A wonderful day at home yesterday was tainted by accidentally upsetting a Facebook friend and Missus now having a management meeting regarding her working hours hanging over her head. However, my training teaches me that happiness and fulfilment is not the absence of challenges, and regarding negative emotions you need to feel them and get on anyway. This I continue to do.

One good thing about loved ones is that it gives you a strong incentive to keep it together as they need the difference that you make. Today looks like an equal balance of my time between myself, Missus and Son, and I intend to make the max difference to all three!

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU

8. TRIVIA
There are some things a shark cannot eat, such as a small fish called the Moses sole and the puffer fish. When a shark bites a sole, it releases a chemical in the shark’s mouth that makes the shark release it. Scientists are trying to duplicate this chemical so it can be used to keep sharks away from people.

9. ZEN WISDOM
The two wheels that carry dialogue forward are a belief that everyone possesses goodness within, and a spirit of unflagging determination to tap and draw out that goodness.
