The execution of Marie Antoinette
Marie Antoinette was born in 1755 as Maria Antonia Josepha Johanna in Vienna, Austria, the daughter of Holy Roman Emperor Francis I and Austrian empress Maria Theresa. She married the Dauphin of France in 1770 and then became Queen of France in 1774 on his accession to the throne.
A series of events contrived to make the queen increasingly unpopular with the French public. Although she was authoritarian, anti-reform and extravagant, she was not guilty of many of the rumours that circulated about her.
After the execution of her husband Louis XVI in January 1793, her fate had been undecided, but once the more moderate Girondins were swept from power in May, the radical members of the "Committee of Public Safety" saw her with some justification as a threat to the revolution and a rallying point for counter-revolutionaries, and so called for her trial for treason. This trial duly began on 14th October, and on the morning of the 16th she was found guilty and sentenced to immediate execution.

The weekend for this character is a fairly fixed affair, due to the Weekend Job, which is no bad thing as it actually frees up Consciousness to rise above character while character just "gets on with it"
When the mind becomes still, Consciousness is liberated from the constructs of character and can simply BE. Consciousness itself emits a pleasant "hum" that you can only feel with a still mind. That alone is a good incentive to be more still more often!
My spiritual aim is for intuition to become solely responsible for decision-making and thought to problem-solving, which brings me back to the essential requirement of a calm mind, because intuition requires a calm mind to function. A perpetually calm mind is thus fundamental to everything I wish to achieve.
