So what did I get for Father's Day? Nothing from Daughter of course, as our relationship is dead, as is that with my own father. I was little disappointed to not receive at least some token of recognition from Son, but that was due his being distracted rather than a bad relationship. Aside from pointing it out once in the evening, I haven't dwelt on it - unlike his mother I don't put much store by dates and anniversaries.

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
The week starts with nothing significant hanging over me or dominating my thought - just the usual stuff to do and difference to make - and that suits me just fine! Such days are golden opportunities to raise consciousness out of character to the universal. The incentive for this is of course blissful peace of mind, but I have in that state discovered something else - a genuine pleasurable sensation that I can only describe as a continual orgasm without the bodily convulsions.
I have discovered that consciousness itself generates a vibration, a pleasurable "hum" that is continually there, and when the mind is silent, you can feel it - and its ecstasy! It's more than enough incentive to liberate your consciousness from the character you play.
There is a consequence of course - what you originally thought was "you" dies, or more appropriately put, the illusion of a separate self evaporates. What you thought was an interactive experience turns out to be a 3D surround-sound movie - just Physics at play. Your body and character turns out to be just the lens through which conscious experience is focused - and they actually work better when you're not "lost" in them!
What I thought was me turns out to be a temporary mode of consciousness, a point at which the universe can perceive itself. So was it worth awakening to discover? Well in the case of this character yes absolutely, because it doesn't function productively when consciousness is lost within it.

8. TRIVIA
While general vocabulary and knowledge about the world often stays sharp through one’s 70s, memory for names begins to decline as early as age 35. The ability to recognize faces and find one’s car has already begun to wane by the 20s. However, research shows that brain stimulation not only stops cells from shrinking, but it can also increase brain cell and dendrite branching.
9. ZEN WISDOM
Genuine happiness is found in courage. Courage is the gateway to happiness.
