3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Thursday at the moment is "bits-and-bats" day - with most client sessions concentrated into the front half of the week, it's a good day to catch up on everything else and relish the diversity of the tasks.

I've been sleeping longer! Often waking around 4am, for two days on the bounce I've been woken by the alarm at 5 - this is no bad thing, as mind and body do essential maintenance work in that time. I'm generally happy to let body and hormones tell me what I need. Yesterday for example, rather than an afternoon meditation it demanded a full-on nap - so I went to bed rather than the couch and slept very deeply!

An important consequence of finding happiness is that there's now no internal conflict - mind and body function generally in harmony. That means homeostasis, body tissue maintenance and the immune system are on full power, keeping me physically robust for my age. In my case, because I have buttons that are easily pushed, a quiet loving environment purged of predators and the dysfunctional is also essential to my wellbeing. I am blessed and most grateful to now be in such an environment!

The benign circumstances I enjoy allow consciousness to rise above this character and truly know itself and "enjoy the movie"
