3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
The Weekend Job went smoothly apart from losing my mobile phone TWICE, both times recovered by friendly colleagues. Though somewhat alarmed at my own stupidity, the incidents caused me to be on the receiving end of a kindness I'm not used to getting there. Being more used to have to fight my corner against psycho customers and bullying self-interested managers, this brought out a profound gratitude.

The above is yet another balance-restoring incident of what I call the Fulcrum Experience - this life experience seems to be in the middle of everything, not in terms of control but of scale. In practically every dimension of experience you can think of, I've known both positive and negative, joy and sorrow, big and small. Even within myself, Dark and Light sit in 50/50 balance. I've had the full 3D surround-sound all-round exposure to everything - ideal in fact to serve my principal life purpose as a mentor.

Right now I believe that my life is now at the pinnacle of cosiness, where my loved ones are all here and in reasonable health and life is fulfilling. All things pass, so I'm focusing hard on relishing every microsecond. If life was sex, this is the orgasm - you have to savour it and get lost in the ecstasy of it in order to enjoy a prolonged afterglow.

Of course, even this pinnacle has sorrow and challenges but I think they are actually important in keeping your sense of perspective - they prevent you losing touch with reality and keep you able to relate to others.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
What constitutes a fulfilling life?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Mainly dry with spells of sunshine and isolated scattered showers
A moderate westerly wind will blow throughout
Max Temp = 13 degC at 1pm
Min Temp = 10 degC at midnight
Sunrise at 04:35
Sunset at 21:42
Moon:

Weathertrack: A weak depression north of Scotland and extending over Britain will track east and deepen slightly, bringing sunshine-and-showers weather
Air Pressure: 1014 millibars and static

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
My wife gives me sound advice. 99% sound. 1% advice. :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
Gay people tend to be left-handed much more often than heterosexuals. This strong evidence that sexual orientation is genetic

9. ZEN WISDOM
A fulfilling life requires that you are constantly recreating yourself anew
