3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Boxing Day went completely according to plan and was thoroughly enjoyed by the lads. I was slightly saddened by Son's frank omission that his mother irritates the hell out of him. I would rather he saw her as someone vulnerable that needs care and protection - perhaps that will come with maturity, but in the meantime it is my task to keep a lid on this underlying tension.
Despite this "fly in the ointment", this Christmas has been a success - Son and I at least are happy and relaxed after it. I shall continue making a difference with an attitude of internally silent and intuition-led gratitude.
