3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Yesterday at home was predictably awkward as Son mainly avoided me and digested the unfortunate events of Monday. Fortunately, time is a healer and especially within the benign atmosphere of home we were both showing the first signs of recovery by bedtime. As we all pursue our own tasks, I expect the clouds to lift and joy and laughter to return.

I have been reminded how my own wellbeing is largely dependent on my circumstances, so moving towards and maintaining benign circumstances is crucial. This would be greatly aided by my Practice flourishing. I have kept up my online presence but need more to raise my profile - an incentive to get my book finished and seize whatever opportunities there are to get my name out there.

At the same time I wish to raise my awareness above my character to the universal perspective, so my daily disciplines are essential to calm and focus the mind sufficiently to get there.
