3. TODAY IN MY LIFE
The final death in acrimony of my relationship with Daughter on Sunday evening and resulting trauma has had the positive effect of causing me to revisit some basics, particularly focus and thought-management. In addition, I am learning to be patient with my healing. When you have a limb amputated, the wound needs to heal before you learn to live without it.
Acceptance and release is crucial to a healing process. There must be no denial over what you feel. Only complete self-honesty, right focus and self-patience will allow healing to occur.
Though I can detach my consciousness from the situation, the feelings are very strong and easily triggered when still new, so time will be needed for them to fully settle into a manageable level.

8. TRIVIA
The ancient Greeks did not have terms that indicated a dichotomy between
“heterosexual” and “homosexual.” Instead, the distinction in ancient
Greek sexual relations was who would take a passive or active role. The
most common form of same-sex love was between an older male, the
erastes, who acted as a mentor and lover for a younger boy, the
eromenos. It was believed that sperm was the source of knowledge and
that it would pass wisdom from the erastes to the eromenos.
The Abrahamic/Monotheistic religions are united in the belief that homosexuality is a sin. Some schools of Buddhism, including the Dalai Lama, are also opposed to homosexuality as detrimental to wellbeing.
