3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
A long cathartic conversation with Son, the latest of several we have had in recent times, drew us closer as we discussed his mother's illness and Daughter. We both realized that we are both still in a process of acceptance, him with Missus and me with Daughter. This was all very positive and healthy. The talking through of hurts, the casting off of both guilt and blame, and the Discipline of Acceptance is both healing and strengthening. I went to bed feeling more grateful than ever.
"Holiday-At-Home" effectively ends today. I have thoroughly enjoyed a jolly good slob, but tomorrow marks a full return to discipline - it's discipline that is the guarantor of my wellbeing and will prolong the "Golden Age" I am currently enjoying.
