3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
My most deep-seated issue, going right back to childhood, is my response to disapproval, particularly when my failure to reach a target is due to the actions of others. At the receiving end of this wrath is usually the completely innocent asker of the question why I'm late.

I've already done much to address this issue of disapproval. Those who have nothing but disapproval to offer have been ruthlessly ejected from my life. Where I cannot escape them, I defend myself aggressively. The issue still a work-in-progress is my reaction to the failings of others causing me to fail. As a therapist I know that even when you know the cause of your issue, this does not solve it. A deeply-rooted program has been imprinted, and the only remedy is a counter-program.

Devising and implementing a program is something I just haven't got round to, but it now has my attention. Since failing because of the failure of others is inevitable in the future, I need an appropriate response ready. Watch this space!

8. TRIVIA
People who take laxatives because they think it will prevent them getting fat are wasting their time. Laxatives work on the large intestine, by which point all the energy from food has already been absorbed, and all laxatives make you lose is more water.

9. ZEN WISDOM
To be understood and appreciated for oneself is essential to your wellbeing.
