3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
It is now a transitional few days with Missus not returning to work until Wednesday and Son re-enrolling today but not yet given a starting date for tutorials. Today marks an interesting tryout of generic Viagra (Sildenafil) while Son is out of the house! With the patent for Viagra expiring, anyone can now make and sell the stuff, causing the price to be halved. Up to now I have been using Cialis (Tadalafil) which takes longer to kick in but lasts a lot longer. With finances being tight, the switch to Sildenafil is a "no-brainer". We shall see how it goes!

Mentally/spiritually, the goal is Total Internal Silence, the elimination of all superfluous thought. I expect improvement in both mood and effectiveness as a result, and with all my focus on it, the aim is a perpetual enlightened state soon!

Careerwise it is a case of maintaining a high online profile, seizing opportunities as they arise and keeping focused on my goal of being self-supporting.

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
Long distance relationships are like fat people - they very rarely work out.

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Al Murray on how bacon proves the existence of God - brilliant!

8. TRIVIA
Stress often causes headaches as adrenalin reroutes blood flow away from the brain's outer cortex to other parts of the body, particularly the heart and muscles.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Alone, one’s suffering only deepens. Human beings need to be with and among other human beings. Engagement with others forges our character and enriches us.
