3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
A rather fruitless search around town yesterday in search of generic Viagra (sildenafil) led me eventually back to where I started at the local Pharmacy who, though they had none in the morning (causing me to disappoint missus) eventually got a delivery in the afternoon, at an unbelievable price of £10.50 for 28. Hooray for Gibson's Pharmacy!
Self-experimentation has revealed that I could in theory be quite capable without chemical assistance, it's just that it takes more of the right kind of stimulation. Whereas in my youth, just sitting at the back of the bus would be enough to cause an erection, these days it takes the right kind of prolonged stimulation. A highly skilled woman who knew what she was doing would have no problem with me. Sadly Missus does not possess this skill, only the libido! I have of course carefully avoided apportioning any blame on her, and I'm just grateful that modern medicine has solved the problem, and now at an affordable price.
Whatever Missus may lack in sexual prowess, she more than makes up for in love, and I would rather have it that way round. Personally I find being adored infinitely preferable to being "exquisitely humped and coldly dumped". I look forward to returning this favour today not just by giving her a good rodgering, but to treating her to a day of romance, on this the 30th anniversary of our meeting.
