3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
With Son at singing lesson, Missus took full advantage and my services were required. My ego was somewhat boosted when Missus came so hard that she then fell asleep for half an hour. Just to keep my feet on the ground, Missus is not difficult to please - she is not that interested in Romance, context or foreplay, she just wants to be banged. Since I have no sexual ambitions elsewhere, and simply want to please/satisfy her, that's just fine!

I am fully aware that this is my "Golden Age" - no worries or concerns in the present moment, and home is a happy and safe place. I am savouring every precious moment of it! 

With time and space, I am healing from my acrimonious estrangement from Daughter, and life is a lot simpler as a result. However a complete severance is impossible, as the soul of Missus is deeply entwined with both of us. I therefore get regular updates about Daughter's doings. I am informed that she wants me to be proud of her. Though flattering, I find this equally confusing. If she is so angry with me, why does she want me to be proud of her? Also estranged from my own Father (at my initiative), I no longer give a flying f**k what he thinks about me. 

Though I am content to be updated on Daughter's progress, and have ego lifted by her desire to have me proud of her, this is of course insufficient incentive for any reconciliation. As it happens, I am proud of and deeply admire her intelligence, good looks, literary talent, initiative and tenacity. Unfortunately her dark side - vindictiveness, narcissism and the total absence of empathy, makes me completely uninterested in a relationship. I wish her her no harm - on the contrary, I wish her every happiness, but have no desire to be directly involved in her life story.
