3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
With Son infected with a virus, I'm assuming that "lad's time" will not occur, which frees me up for other tasks, most importantly cracking on with my new book. Uneventful days such as this are golden opportunities to become re-grounded and re-focused, and I intend to take full advantage!

Being in such a benign environment, I can see how bad for your health a hostile environment is! Most people tolerate such an environment and awkward/selfish people probably because they don't know any different. Though such experiences have led me ultimately to an appreciative happy place, I have no intention whatsoever of repeating them! I will now without hesitation cast out difficult people from my personal life and robustly defend myself in hostile places. Hostility is now limited to the Weekend Job, and my uncompromising stance means that often even that environment presents no discomfort.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU

8. TRIVIA
Although anorexia is more common among young people than any other age group, it is more deadly in the elderly. From 1986 to 1990, the elderly accounted for 78% of all deaths due to anorexia.

9. ZEN WISDOM
People who live a life of tenacity and challenge break through all the obstacles they face just as water eventually carves a path through rock. Be strong like constantly flowing water, ever moving forward.
