3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Yesterday's grocery shopping excursion was marked by a brain-malfunction on my part which led me to visit ASDA, Sainsburys and Tesco before I got everything, and even then I got the wrong shampoo! The short-term memory seemed to have blown a fuse! The good thing to come out of this experience was that my response was very well controlled - by the time Missus and Son got home they were blissfully ignorant of my exasperation - and Missus is good at picking up when I'm not happy!

I have learned that what really matters is your response to situations, but this doesn't come naturally to me - it has taken me decades to get my character anywhere near this sort of mind-management. I am proud that the things I have learned the hard way I can pass on to my clients and more importantly my Son.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you responding to adversity in the right way?

8. TRIVIA
When a shark bites a Red Sea Moses Sole fish, it releases a chemical in the shark’s mouth that makes the shark release it. Scientists are trying to duplicate this chemical so it can be used to keep sharks away from people.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Our voice resonates with life. Because this is so, it can touch the lives of others. The caring and compassion imbued in your voice finds passage to the listener’s soul, striking his or her heart and causing it to sing out. The human voice summons something profound from deep within, and can even compel a person into action.
