3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I'm on something of a good run with the Weekend Job - the last few shifts have gone almost too smoothly to be true! This certainly helps mood and morale. Let's hope today will be the same!
In fact, free of unhelpful individuals, life is generally idyllic - only finance is suffering at the moment. Son, who is now thinking twice about his operatic ambitions, asked me if I regret spending all that cash on his auditions and general exploration in music. Without hesitation I said no. Even though on the face of it there is no material reward for the investment so far, that was not the main objective - the true objective is to support him as parents.
Conversely, I regret and resent every penny I ever spent on Daughter - not just because she wasted it all, but because in return for all that investment I got only anger and hatred in return.
