3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
After some much-needed space yesterday daytime, I recovered from "carer fatigue" and spent quality time with Missus in the evening. However, I had the mildly distressing experience of observing her being hurt by Daughter's offhand rudeness and disrespect over the phone.

It is beyond my understanding how when the rest of us are essentially good-hearted, appreciative and mutually-respectful, Daughter has turned out such a repugnant individual, mean, narcissistic and vindictive. I would have no hesitation in severing this truly ghastly woman from my life were it not for Missus. Considering her mother is #1 in her life and for whom she has the most love, yet still speaks to her in such an appalling way, I feel very sorry indeed for anyone else who makes the mistake of getting involved with this horrid person.

Though I could if I wanted force Missus to see less of her Daughter, that would make Missus unhappy and myself as mean as Daughter, but I hate and resent the way poor Missus gets treated. All I can do is comfort Missus and reassure her that she isn't doing anything wrong. I am however fully prepared to intervene if Daughter goes too far.

Myself and Son are agreed in summing Daughter up in one word: poisonous.
