3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Acceptance, an essential discipline, is proving a challenge! If I hurt Missus, I can do something to correct it - I can say sorry and change my behaviour. When Daughter hurts Missus, I can do absolutely nothing about it - and that is most frustrating indeed!  I have no option but to take my focus off the matter on things that I can do.

Once you have found the strength within you to make that act of acceptance and refocus, things get easier. My experience of life has taught me that everything is about focus. Whatever has your attention will determine your life experience. There is an abundance of darkness to focus on if you are foolish enough to allow yourself to do so, but in equal measure is light with which to experience gratitude.

The latter half of this week is about recovery, my torn left shoulder and infected right ear are slowly mending. Not unconnected, I have restarted giving my brain the necessary sleep and meditation I've been depriving it of and the effect on my mood and responses was immediate! I intend not to repeat these recent errors of neglect.

Missus, selfless and grudgeless as ever, is off to see Daughter today, giving me some valued Me-Time, which I intend to indulge to the max.

6. TODAY'S ONELINER

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Smack The Pony - Call Centre

8. TRIVIA
Regardless of the number of sexual partners a man or woman has been with, the more attractive a presumed new sexual partner is, the less likely a person is to take safe-sex precautions.

9. ZEN WISDOM
There is no true joy in a life lived closed up in the little shell of the self. When you take one step to reach out to people, when you meet with others and share their thoughts and sufferings, infinite compassion and wisdom well up within your heart. Your life is transformed.
