3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Missus has made some progress in her dealings with Daughter in that she now texts rather than phones after daughter has treated her badly, thus avoiding setting herself up for further abuse. This considerably lessens the probability of being upset and therefore the likelihood of having to intervene and frees up more time and energy.

I will be treating myself to two "slob days" where other than the ironing, I will be having a break from domestic and marketing work, and indulging myself! I now sit the on the highest pinnacle of happiness and contentment and I intend to savour every moment. I'm hoping the pinnacle turns out to be a prolonged ridge!

Of course what can never be relaxed is my focus. There are endless dark places it could fall into if my consciousness allowed it. To pay attention always is a lifelong essential necessity if I want to hold on to this hard-won happiness.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Do you have firm 24-7 control over your attention?

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
My mate went a bit off the rails when he was younger, which is probably why he's no longer a train driver. :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
The English word “girl” was initially used to describe a young person of either sex. It was not until the beginning of the sixteenth century that the term was used specifically to describe a female child.

9. ZEN WISDOM
A great human revolution in just a single individual can achieve a change in the destiny of a nation and, further, will enable a change in the destiny of all humankind.
