3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
The Weekend Job is a good place to practice mind-emptying, and results have been mixed. It's actually hard work because to keep the mind empty of random though requires considerable concentration. When the mind becomes tired, it soon fills up again with all manner of random junk - at least mine does anyway!

Though in meditation at home I can create relaxing conditions for meditation, when you're out and about, mind emptying is the opposite of relaxing - it's all about paying attention! Now I've finally grasped this, I am expecting to get good results!

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you fully in control of your own mind?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Some drizzle at first
Dry and cloudy thereafter, with cloud thinning out in the evening
An initially strong westerly or north-westerly will gradually ease over the day
Max Temp = 11 degC at 5pm
Min Temp = 7 degC at midnight
Sunrise at 05:16
Sunset at 20:51
Moon:

Weathertrack: Weather fronts over Britain will move away to the east and an anticyclone over France will then extend north across the country
Air Pressure: 1016 millibars and rising rapidly

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
It takes men a long time to text back because we know it's going to be scrutinized like a document that was smuggled out of the Kremlin :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
Some penguin colonies in Antarctica reach over 20 million penguins

9. ZEN WISDOM
The biggest obstacles to our progress exist within our own lives in the form of cowardice and the tendency to give up. Breaking through these barriers will unleash a surging wave of change.
