3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Something of a breakthrough yesterday - my consciousness rose above my reactions. I could feel my brain responding to stimuli whilst my consciousness observed it from a distance. It has taken many years of discipline and persistence to reach this point! The next step is to increase the amount of time I am "super-conscious" to the continual state.

What I have realized is that unwanted reactions to stimuli will inevitably occur, and the objective is not to eliminate them but be detached from them - when your consciousness is detached, the reactions simply exist but don't cause consequences - you don't get "lost" in them.

I'd like to claim that by will alone I have brought this about, but the reality is that my circumstances have now been benevolent for long enough to allow super-consciousness to develop. I will need continued benevolent circumstances to expand it to being the perpetual mental state.
