3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
The pace of events is easing off and today is going to be a "steady away" day - my favourite kind! The quieter days mean you can perform all your daily disciplines essential for mind-and-body maintenance and "go on the offensive" taking initiatives, making a difference, marketing yourself, as well as enjoying a little Tivo!

Particularly importantly, benign circumstances allow you to quiet your mind, and discover your true self beneath all that noisy thought.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you recognizing and making best use of the opportunities that come your way?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Dry and cloudy throughout
A moderate easterly will swing north-easterly in the evening
Max Temp = 10 degC at 2pm
Min Temp = 5 degC at 7am
Sunrise at 05:07
Sunset at 21:00
Moon:

Weathertrack: Britain is between an anticyclone to the north and a depression to the south
Air Pressure: 1015 millibars, dipping then rising slightly

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
I met an archaeologist fascinated with used tampons - he could tell you just by looking which period it came from :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
In Iran, it is against the law to own a dog as a pet. However, if an owner can prove the dog is a guard or hunting dog, this restriction doesn’t apply. Muslim reticence concerning dogs is perhaps due to the fact that rabies has always been endemic in the Middle East.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Failure is an instrumental part of every success. Whether our life has been a triumph or tragedy can only be judged at its very end.
