3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
With Son on his way back today, a "last hurrah" of disapproval-free passion is scheduled for this morning. I'm vaguely hoping that his own month of unrestrained passion may make him more tolerant of ours, but I doubt it! I expect very little change. Though he will be physically here, he has psychologically left and consequently his tolerance of other people in his space is rock-bottom, even though he's not the one who owns it! It will be a return to the weekly "unwritten arrangement" slot.

My inclination is to the "our house, so f*ck you" stance, but more conciliatory Missus wants to keep him here for as long as possible, and since she's the one with the libido, I would be fighting a cause that isn't actually mine. In addition of course, though he is in nest-flying mode, our relationship is still good, and with there being no relationship with Daughter, I don't want to needless put strain on it.

In accordance with my philosophy of being conscious on many levels at once, I have also been contemplating what separates this character from others, and it is curiosity! I have an intrinsic desire to KNOW. Because it is so fundamentally a part of my nature, I find myself continually bemused at the willful ignorance of the majority who just don't have this quality.

I have gone through phases of sadness, loneliness and anger at being one of the curious minority, but that same curiosity and urge to develop is beginning to lift my consciousness above these emotions to the point of acceptance of what it all is, simply Physics in action. This realization makes me grateful for the fact that I am one of the few Human Beings who will experience the bliss of inner peace.
