3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I have to say I was quite chuffed with my performance yesterday. With the circumstances being benign, my attention was freed up to focus on internal development, and to "autocorrect" inherent issues. I've now got mastery of "urine boners" which of late have been happening nightly, simply urinating and going back to sleep, turning down the options of making use of the boner just because I've got one and also of getting up early to blog. I am generally better for it, no longer wasting precious sleeptime.

My other self-triumph has been on re-grounding when my attention has drifted into dark scenarios, simply acknowledging I'm in the wrong place, relaxing, and letting letting energy rebalance itself. I can now do this quite quickly and efficiently.

These little twin victories are a confidence boost and of course inform my work with clients. Although having no mentor other than myself makes learning slower, once I've "got it" it's firmly ingrained and permanent.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Can you see yourself developing?

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
George Carlin on pretentious language

8. TRIVIA
Early Roman women were forbidden to drink wine, and a husband who found his wife drinking was at liberty to kill her. Divorce on the same grounds was last recorded in Rome in 194 B.C.

9. ZEN WISDOM
When you devote yourself to achieving your goal, you will not be bothered by shallow criticism. Nothing important can be accomplished if you allow yourself to be swayed by some trifling matter, always looking over your shoulder and wondering what others are saying or thinking. The key to achievement is to move forward along your chosen path with firm determination.
