2. TODAY IN MY LIFE
Blogging first thing. Taking cat to the vets, then housework. A mixture of me time, missus time and online marketing throughout the day. Will also slot in a long meditation.

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
The cat has developed a squint in her right eye and is losing weight - at just the wrong time! We can't actually afford a vet, but we'll take her anyway because I am not without compassion.

Though financially crippled by a series of unexpected expenses since December, which may well drive us into debt by Spring, home life on the other hand continues to be bliss. This is without doubt my "Golden Age" - I've never been happier and more content than now. Since I know all things must pass, I'll treasure, enjoy, absorb and fully experience every single moment while I still can.

With my business partnership collapsing in January, I am looking for new opportunities to take my Practice forward. Right now, I have to admit that I don't have a "big idea", only the intention to keep doing what I'm doing and have more of it, but I will keep alert for inspiration and opportunities.

Missus and Son are both at home this week for half-term, which makes the mornings more easy going, though I miss having the place to myself! Fortunately I enjoy their company, so this offsets the loss of personal space.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you focused on what isn't, what is, or what you are doing now?

8. TRIVIA
In Tunisia, images of fish are often used to protect against evil. New buildings often have fish bones or tails embedded in them as they are built, and cars have brightly coloured plastic or cloth fish attached to them to provide protection to the people inside.
