3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
There are times when you just have to hold your nerve! February is another financially-draining month - £50 on emergency extra security for the (remaining!) garden gate, £20 to cover Son's financial misjudgement and a whopping £200 energy bill accrued last month to pay off. NEXT month business insurance and website hosting need renewal!

Financial worries can knaw at the back of your mind, but the discipline of grounding in the moment is the best coping mechanism. RIGHT NOW I'm fine, I don't owe anybody anything immediately and have much to be grateful for, and I have got through every previous situation practising the principles I have learned, so it makes sense to just carry on doing what I do!

There's a wider general principle at work here about life in general regarding focus. The majority sheep-like mentality is to focus on countering potential threats present and future. I have abandoned this idea as in the first place simply not possible - death can be waiting for you regardless - and secondly a recipe for a lifetime of quiet desperation. I prefer instead to be focused upon what I WANT. I believe absolutely in the principle of that which has the majority of your thought is what manifests in your life experience.

Failures and setbacks are an inevitable part of the life experience. The correct response is to respond by modifying your action but NOT where you're looking, which is toward your goal. Never let a setback divert your attention onto all the other potential setbacks which haven't actually happened.

I intend to become absolutely grounded in the moment to maximise my power and potential, and therefore the difference I make. Compressed into a mantra - keep your attention on your intention.

4. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Are you giving yourself the space to refocus on your goals when you've been distracted?

9. THE WISDOM I'VE LEARNED FROM OTHERS
"If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything." - Allyson Jones
