3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
After some soul-searching, missus and myself have agreed not to replace the stolen small garden gate. We don't have the £200 insurance excess, and we don't want to borrow the money in case a genuine emergency comes up. I will put it down to experience. When the gates were installed in 2011 I was warned by a neighbour that this could happen, but I didn't take the threat seriously. Such is hindsight! I must now adopt the Buddhist principle that if something is taken from you, you must let go of it with your mind.

Another area of acceptance being necessary is regarding my cough - I just need to keep up the aromatherapy and painkillers until it finally heals.

The benefits of the acceptance of adversity is that it frees up your mind to focus on moving forward. Setbacks that do not kill you make you wiser and stronger! I now intend to get on with developing my Practice.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Is there anything lost you need to let go of?
