3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
A big test of my mental and spiritual development occurred last night when the bus home failed to show up, an event that has sent me apeshit in the past. Though various dark scenarios flashed across my mind, like firing a bazooka into the Bradford HQ of the FirstBus Company and assassinating a random bus driver in reprisal, by the time I got home, 18 minutes later than usual, composure had returned.

This is a significant personal victory! What I have learned is instead of focusing on the failings of others to live up to their own standards, it is important to focus on your own, making the best decision possible in the circumstances you face.

I does NOT come easy! The level of concentration required is very high indeed. However, I have proved to myself that I can achieve it! My intention now is to strengthen this focus to sky-high levels, like a missile "locked-on" to my target, undistractable and adaptable to obstacles.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Which has your attention, your own goals or everything around you?

6. TODAY'S ONELINER

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Nick Guerra on Horror Movies

8. TRIVIA
Star Trek's The Borg were initially conceptualized as being insects but took on their ultimate form due to budget restraints. The hive motif, however, remained.

9. ZEN WISDOM
“Dig beneath your feet, there you will find a spring.” The place where you are now is crucial. Never try to avoid that which you must do.
