Stauffenberg then departs for Berlin to help run the coup d'etat at OKH. After he has left, General Brandt, not knowing the contents,  moves the briefcase as it was in his way.

When the bomb explodes, four people are killed, but Hitler, on the far side of the table, suffers only minor injuries. Himmler is immediately dispatched to Berlin to crush the coup. Stauffenberg and three others are quickly captured and executed in the courtyard of OKH. General Beck, one of the main conspirators, commits suicide.

Mussolini arrives at the Wolfsschanze for a previously arranged visit, to find that Hitler is alive and convinced that his survival proves that his destiny is total victory.

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I am in a transitional phase mentally where I am switching where I am deriving my mental strength from. My intention is to derive all my happiness and mood from my Higher Self rather than the circumstances of the character I play. This is requiring me to reach new heights of concentration!

Due to the benign circumstances at home I can already do this for long periods, but my intention is to be so on a permanent ongoing basis, in the face of any distraction. When I can do this, I will be "me" in the fullest sense, and my character simply an "eye" through which the universe sees itself.

It has been a great adventure starting from a frightened, lost and lonely character to where I am now, and now I am keen to be Me in the fullest sense as seen through a single temporary focal point of consciousness - an experience that can be recorded and left behind for other points of consciousness to learn from.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
The pipistrelle bat weighs less than two pennies and is only as long as a person’s little finger. Yet it can eat 3,000 insects in one night.

9. ZEN WISDOM
It would be pointless for a plum blossom to try to remake itself as a cherry blossom, no matter how deeply the plum yearns to do so. The plum is happiest when it blooms as itself in full glory. How much of the color and wonder of life would be lost if it weren’t for our differences.
